Guatemala vs. USA Tickets

Soccer maybe not that popular in the USA, but this is one of the most popular sports internationally. Names such as David Beckham, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are some of popular soccer players in the world.
For the upcoming FIFA World Cup in 2014 (that will be held in Brazil), the qualifier for the North and Central America and the Caribbean is held in Guatemala. There are 12 teams competing to reach the World Cup. The 12 teams are divided into three groups (Groups A, B and C). All of the competing teams are vying to be part of the remaining 31 spots in the 2014 FIFA World Cup with one spot given to the defending champion, the Spain.
Currently, the Guatemala Soccer club and the US national team are tied for the top spot in the Group A with 10 points apiece, in which both have 3 wins, a single loss and a draw in their five games in the group. In Group B, the Mexico football team ruled it winning all five matches and 15 points. Group C leader is a tie between Panama and Canada with 10 points each.

Guatemala soccer team, together with the USA soccer team will advance to the next stage as well as Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama and Canada. The 4th round is about the popular hexagonal staging. The top three teams who will win this stage will advance to the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil. Nevertheless, the team who placed 4th in this stage can still have a chance to reach the World Cup if the team will win the intercontinental play-offs. This round will start in February 2013 and will last until October 2013.

Since the third round of the qualifier is almost done, teams such as the Guatemala soccer club can work on the basics and enhance further their game plans as they will face challenging teams such as the Mexico’s National football team, which is considered to be a strong contender.

Soccer fans in the North, Central America and the Caribbean will have to wait a year from now to see who will advance to the much anticipated 2014 FIFA World Cup.  Add code SAVE for additional checkout savings.
